Zaptec launches in the UK
I am thrilled that we are entering the UK to electrify the transportation sector and participate in making alternatives for fossil fuel available for everyone. As over 80% of the population lives in urban areas, we believe that there is a great potential to rapidly develop the infrastructure for EV charging in businesses, public places, private houses, and housing cooperatives. Zaptec charging solutions work smartly with the grid and share power between units, so customers can charge multiple EVs efficiently and save on their investment, says the CEO of Zaptec, Anders Thingbø.
The new Managing Director of Zaptec in the UK was selected from the industry. Guy Haydon joins from Siemens, where he was Head of Sales for Electromobility. He recently appeared on the list GreenFleet 100 Most Influential in 2021 after working in the UK industry for five years.
