Three months after joining ZAPTEC Charger, a subsidiary of ZAPTEC, Simen Teigre steps up as the new CEO of ZAPTEC – a technology company with innovative and proprietary solutions for super-compact power electronics and transformers.

STAVANGER, Norway – ZAPTEC announces new CEO in place

Simen Teigre is an experienced and accomplished leader who has previously held senior executive roles at both Cisco and Tandberg. He also co-founded and led Pexip, a Norwegian-based global innovator in collaboration software, a company currently valued at 2 billion NOK. Simen is a McKinsey alumni and has a degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from NTNU in Trondheim, Norway.

The former CEO of ZAPTEC, Brage W. Johansen, has resigned to pursue other opportunities.”I am proud to have had a key role in building ZAPTEC from scratch over the last four years,” stated Brage. “We have released a disruptive technology with global potential, developed the first products, partnered with the first customers and built a strong network.”
