GROUNDBREAKING TECHNOLOGY FOR ELECTRIC CARS – RENAULT NORWAY SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH Zaptec Zaptec and Renault Norway have today signed a letter of intent, where Zaptec shall be the provider of pioneering charging technology for Renault ́s electric cars sold in the Norwegian market. “Zaptec has developed a secure, highly efficient and portable charging technology for electric cars, which guarantees all owners of Renault Zoe fast and safe charging wherever they are . Renault has long been searching for a solution that works optimally with the Norwegian electricity grid. It now appears that we have found the solution, Zaptec is the first company in the world with such a product, a product we will offer all our Renault Zoe customer going forward”, says Anders Gadsbøll, Managing director, Renault Norway.

PATENTED TECHNOLOGY

Zaptec has developed a patented electronic transformer that is very compact and lightweight. This has made it possible to integrate the solution in a EV charging cable, with the functionality of a much larger charger station. EV Charging is one of many uses for this Norwegian-developed technology.

FUTURE PROOF

ZapCharger Portable is one of several Zaptec charger products for the growing market of electric vehicles. The portable charging station solves all problems with irregularities and different standards in mains, providing more reliable and stable charging for electric vehicles.
