ZAPTEC Portal is the brains behind our smart charging infrastructure. It continuously monitors, balances and optimises the load between the various charging stations.

Installers and owners of charging installations can easily keep track of their installations in the ZAPTEC Portal. Here you can add charging stations, read charging history and do updates, monitoring, configurations and more.

View charging history of every charging station or registered user

The ZAPTEC Portal contains a wide range of useful tools. Here you can view and export the full charging history for the entire installation, individual charging stations or users for a specific time period. To view the history per user on shared charging stations, all users must be registered in ZAPTEC Portal and the RFID tag or charge card must be linked to the user profile in order to start charging.

Installation owners can lock charging stations to allow only selected users access or, alternatively, anyone to charge. Installation owners add users to their installation using the email address registered by users in ZAPTEC Portal.

With user groups, it is possible to have several charging stations open for guests for charging and to lock other charging stations for private charging only within the same system.

Monitor system power usage with ZAPTEC Portal

Every time a resident or user charges an EV, it is registered in our cloud service, ZAPTEC Portal. This lets you monitor both power usage and EV charging costs.

Even if users share the charging station with others, you can still see the individual user charge history. To access the individual charging history, you must establish authentication with an RFID card or use the ZapCharger app. This also enables you to allow access to specific users only.

To be allowed access, you must be a registered user for that specific installation. Registration is done by the system administrator.

Reports can be generated for each charging station, so if the charging station is not shared, no identification is needed.

Installation in the ZAPTEC Portal for electricians

The ZAPTEC Portal makes installation fast and easy. All configuration is done through the ZAPTEC Portal and real-time monitoring is available immediately. The installation overview provides detailed information about the charging stations, with such details as history, network status and possible errors.

See real-time status on charging, use of phases on the power circuit and information about fully charged EVs.

How to use ZAPTEC with other solutions

The ZAPTEC system can easily be used with third-party solutions, such as to provide external authorisation or for monitoring purposes. ZAPTEC Portal bridges the ZAPTEC Pro system with OCPP 1.6-enabled cloud solutions for charge authorisation and monitoring.

ZAPTEC additionally provides an open API that can be used to access detailed information and charge history for charging systems you own.
