With an extensive network and involved in several construction projects in Bodø, Espen gained insight into the solutions proposed for charging electric cars in large garages at the time. He discovered that developers and customers projected with antique solutions and imagined one-on-one in consumption. For an enthusiast like Espen, it was a pain in the heart to offer these types of solutions to his customers. He had to fight against myths like “not enough power ” “everyone must have his or her fuse” and “we have to charge as quickly as the gas pump.”
In October 2015, Zaptec established a was a closer dialogue with Espen, who had just received the news of the new EV charging solution ZapCharger Pro, aimed at larger garage facilities such as parking for apartment complexes. After a presentation of the charging solution, the immediate reaction was that this was too good to be true, and the end product probably would not live up to expectations. However, OfficeLink nevertheless choose to try the solution and was one of the first to install a ZapCharger Pro charging system after production started in late 2016.
The first experience of the charging system was great, and a combination of a first class product, excellent delivery, and satisfied customers made the electric vehicle venture for OfficeLink a massive success. To this day, OfficeLink has installed over 600 charging stations in around 90 installations throughout Norway, making it one of the largest Zaptec dealers.

Recently, OfficeLink launched its Charge365 charging concept, which is a total delivery of everything needed for a functional charging system to the end customer. Meaning OfficeLink takes care of installation, user handling, payment, and operational responsibility if desired.
During the installation process, OfficeLink uses a selection of skilled electrical installers who are in charge of installing the electrical infrastructure so everyone can put his or her focus on his or her area of expertize. By specializing in charging systems, OfficeLink aims to become a competence center for electrical installers who are interested in providing excellent solutions for electric cars in the future.
